The U.S. Travel Association’s “Travel Works for America” Roadshow arrived in Charlotte on May 29-30, bringing a message of travel’s value to the success of North Carolina and the nation. U.S. Travel’s roadshow tour spotlights how travel powers nearly every industry and community across America.

The U.S. Travel Association conducted a “Travel Works for America” Power Hour with U.S. Congressman John Joyce and more than 20 Gettysburg travel and business leaders on Tuesday, May 28, demonstrating the tangible impact that travel has on the local region and businesses.

At U.S. Travel’s IPW, five travel journalists were honored with U.S. Travel Association and Brand USA Travel Writer Awards. The competition recognizes outstanding travel writing by journalists in three categories: best U.S. travel destination article, best (past) IPW host city article for San Antonio (2023), and best trade publication Article.
